Tsaranoro Valley - Topos and Overviews

 

Collected Topos to Tsaranoro Valley (Madagascar)

Due to the fact, that for climbing in Tsaranoro Valley in Madagascar is no guidebook available I tried
to collect all topos I could get. The website from Camp Catta (campcatta.com) was an important base
for that but unfortunately are most of the lines in the wrong spots of the picture. Therefore I tried
to add also the original topo to have all the information in one place. All topos are in Order from left
to right.
One of the reasons to list the information here is that at the first route in the area "Rain Boto" got
additional bolts from new route next to it. Some other routes were in parts made again without even
mention that fact. I assume it was due to the lack of knowledge.
For all people who want to do first accents in the area I highly recommend stainless bolts. It seems
that the conditions and the environment makes all other bolts rusty within short time.
If you have a new topo or one I missed (e.g. left of "Mainty sy Fotsy" at Mitsinjoarivo the right sight
of the pillar we have see bolts but found no top) feel free to leave a post in my blog

With "Lanani Mpanjaka" we opened our best route so fare and the repeaters 2022 agreed with that opinion
